Preparing for the hike: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please arrive wearing appropriate footwear. We recommend sturdy, enclosed shoes—ideally winter hiking boots or hiking shoes. Remember to bring at least one litre of water per person. We welcome you to bring any additional snacks you may want to enjoy on the hike, beyond the alpine lunch provided. Dress appropriately for the weather; breathable long sleeves, fleece, insulated jacket, warm active pants, a hat, sunglasses and gloves are suggested. Additional layers are recommended. A backpack to carry belongings adds comfort for the journey. Facilities (port-a-potties) may be available at the trailhead but are not guaranteed. If you have any questions about what to bring, don’t hesitate to reach out.

What is provided: On this adventure, you will be accompanied by a certified guide with knowledge of the area. An alpine lunch and a warm beverage is included, along with transportation to and from the meeting location. If you wish, we can also provide hiking poles, bear spray and spikes for your use during the day.

Booking policy: To secure your adventure with us, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due in full on the day of the trip.

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to 48 hours before the trip by calling or emailing us. In this case, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Should weather conditions make hiking unsafe and we need to cancel the trip, your deposit will either be fully refunded, or you may choose to reschedule for a later date.
